Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 2, 2026. By using Typing Speed Training, visitors agree to use the site for personal, educational, and professional typing practice. The service is provided free of charge and is intended as a learning resource.

Permitted use

Visitors may use the typing test, lessons, WPM guides, calculators, timers, job practice modes, mobile texting test, leaderboard, and articles to practice typing speed and accuracy. Results are for personal reference and are not official certifications, employment guarantees, or professional assessments.

Users should not represent site results, badges, or practice history as official employer certifications. The tools can help prepare for typing tasks, but employers, schools, or agencies may use their own testing standards.

Practice data and leaderboards

Local practice data may be lost if browser storage is cleared. If a user creates an account or submits supported scores to the global leaderboard, limited score data may be stored in Supabase, including username, WPM, accuracy, KPH, practice mode, and timestamp. Users should not abuse, scrape, overload, or misrepresent the service.

Typing Speed Training may update lessons, calculators, guides, policies, and page content as the site improves. Continued use of the site after updates means the visitor accepts the current terms.

Free educational resource

The site is currently focused on free typing education, practical drills, WPM explanations, productivity calculators, and trustworthy public pages. No ads are currently displayed. If advertising is added later, the privacy policy and relevant terms may be updated to explain that change.
